Privacy policy

Last updated 7 November 2026

This policy explains how Yubani (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal data when you visit yubani.co.uk, book a demo, request a free trial, leave a review or contact us. We are the data controller for this information.

What we collect

  • Details you give us in our forms: your name, work email, phone number (if you add it), company, job title, company size, hiring plans and anything you write in your message.
  • Emails you send us and our replies.
  • If you leave a review: your rating, review, first name and job title, which we publish with your consent, and your email and company, which we use only to confirm you're a customer and never publish.
  • Basic technical data our hosting provider records when you load a page, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. This is used to keep the site running and secure.

We don't use analytics or advertising cookies. See our cookie policy.

How we use it

  • To arrange and run your demo or free trial, and to answer your questions.
  • To follow up about Yubani, where you've asked us to or would reasonably expect it.
  • To keep our website secure and prevent spam.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

Lawful basis

We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and promoting our service to businesses, and on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. You can object to this at any time.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We share it only with providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting and email services, under contracts that require them to protect it. We may also disclose data where the law requires.

Where your data is stored

Some of our providers may process data outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we use appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case our customer terms apply. You can ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. Email privacy@yubani.co.uk and we'll respond within one month. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
